peelings of poetry


eraser strands
strewed all about my desk
like peelings of a scab

blood I seek
syrup of honesty
to pour in the pages

what’s reality?
if what I say or do
will never be strict Truth

my spirit
will juice my thoughts till my
body becomes peelings
